What possessed me to watch this? Why did I read that title, look at that poster, and think "yes, this is the way I want to spend my afternoon." What if this was my last straw?

“There's a killer out there they haven't been able to catch for decades. All I'm gonna say is I believe it's the goddamn tooth fairy”

Tooth Fairy: The Last Extraction (aka Tooth Fairy 3) is the third part in a super low-budget horror series I haven't seen the first two parts of. Some but certainly not all of the "Highlights":

This being the only part I've seen purely because despite having a planned for-purchase release date 4 months from now, its distributor accidentally randomly put it up on its Youtube page for free and I was able to catch it before it was taken down
Me forgetting about it for a full week despite almost always logging stuff (or at…

This is somehow a slight step-up from the second film but it's still pretty rough. There's still huge sections of the film where absolutely nothing happens and yet it felt like it was way more exciting. The acting is maybe a tad better, and while the tooth fairy's mask is still not great, it's better than the last one as best I can tell. Still looks nothing like the cover though so at least that's consistent. This has been a struggle of a franchise but we're over the hump now, three down and two to go!

Death by orange juice. This was bad and I’m torturing myself with this series. The positives were that a lot from the past two films was finally explained, and the mask design was better albeit different. Now onto the negatives. None of the deaths were remotely convincing - most of them would still be alive. It felt like very little effort was placed on making convincing scenes. The makeup effects are lazily done and unconvincing. Im afraid that there is one more film in this series, and a fifth one potentially on the way. I have to complete series if I start them, so wish me luck!

I don't normally warn against watching movies but part of this is genuinely quite scary. The monster's there and suddenly it jumps to the protagonist surrounded by some nightmare-inducing decor. The sofas and chairs in this film must have been hand picked by satan himself.

Man with neck (you know who you are): you are the sole reason this is not a 1 star movie. Your talents elevate this film to levels it doesn't deserve. I think I speak for every human being on this earth and fictional characters when I say that you have our respect.

Truly where the trilogy comes into its own, even though I haven’t seen either of the previous installments.

The only film where following a trail of dollar store candy to the bathroom where you’ll find salvation in conjuring the demonic tooth collecter who kills with his trusty pair of pliers and assorted sharpened candy canes is the most understandable thing to do. A tour de force of creative skill is on display in every frame.

One star sober, +1 per shot.
    Still funnier than anchorman.

Well... I mean it's a lot like the last one but with worse, lazier and less convincing kills BUT they unf*cked the audio, god bless.
This the final in the first trilogy of demon Tooth Fairy movies before the 4th (haven't seen) and 5th (have seen, almost recommendable) which decide to make the slasher a real nutto escaped from a mental facility instead of a summonable hell monster with with their own feaux Necronomicon and agonizingly reviewed lore that is fleshed out in an number of boring scenes by someome who seems to have just memorized their lines the night before.

The 37 year olds playing teens are almost as bad as the first one where the actor playing the…

Apparently this is the third film in a series. I will not be seeking the other ones out.

Grabbed this at a local used movie store for a buck and figured it would be good for a bad movie night. Well, it was sure bad, alright.

The one star is for the fact that some of the kills are pretty damn decent for this being as low budget as it is.

October Horror Challenge 2021 Movie #44

I mean, pretty much more of the same from the last one. There's a few new wrinkles to the pattern that the film will make sure you understand through blunt exposition, but you pretty much know the drill. At this point, I've been Patty Hearsted into actually seeking out all these UK b-flicks after sitting through three dozen or so of them. It's something I wouldn't recommend to anyone, save for the sick f*cks like me looking for anything resembling the cheapo DTV garbage we'd rent on vhs. Though, back in MYYYYYY day, this shot was shot on film and looked nearly legit. But I'll take these janky digital offerings if I have to…
